John William Garrison

John W. Garrison, 85, died Feb. 10, 2022, at his home in Eau Claire.

He was born Oct. 24, 1936, in Benton Harbor, the son of Henry and Virginia Garrison. He had worked as a self-employed auto mechanic at his G & P Auto Repair shop.

John married Eileen Teske on April 27, 1957, and she preceded him in death in 2011. Also preceding him in death were his parents and his brother, Roger Garrison.

He is survived by four sons: Jeff (Leannette) Garrison of Eau Claire, Tim Garrison of Benton Harbor, Gerry (Cherie) Garrison of Benton Harbor, and Scott (Lois) Garrison of Eau Claire; grandchildren: Gregory (Kelly Guliver), Alyssa, Johnathan and Katelyn Garrison, Cherri and Bradin Perriguey, and Kristi (Charles) Wilson; and many nieces and nephews.
