Anthony Thomas Clayton passed away peacefully at home June 14 th , 2024, at the young age of 44.
“Slap or TT” as he was affectionately known by those who love him, was an eccentric and flamboyant soul with a capacity for love that, without doubt, could have moved mountains. Despite the personal battles he fought in silence, Slap stood at the ready with open ears, open arms, and an open heart for those in need. Steadfast in his loyalty, unwavering in his compassion, infectious with his laughter and an undying light that shone in his smile.
He is survived by His devoted mother, Mary Clayton, two brothers, Corey Wilbur and Cain Wilbur, many aunts, uncles, cousins and a multitude friends. Slap was preceded in death by his father, Steven Whitehead and his grandparents, William and Dorothy Whitehead whom he missed immensely.
As we say goodbye to Anthony Thomas Clayton, we do so with gratitude for the time we shared with him. His journey on earth has ended, but his memory will live on through the lives he touched. Forever a “Country Boy,” forever a friend, forever an unfillable void in the hearts, minds and lives of those blessed enough to know him. He will be missed.
Until we see you again…….
