Benjamin Warren Walker, 85, of Niles, died Tuesday, November 8, 2016, at his home.
Graveside services will be at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, November 17, at Morris Chapel Cemetery in Berrien Township. Bowerman Funeral Home is serving the family, and online messages may be left at www.bowermanfuneral.com.
Warren was born September 29, 1931, in Benton Harbor, the son of Benjamin and Cleola (Benson) Walker. He was a lifelong area resident who provided for his family by growing fruits and vegetables on his farm.
Warren is survived by two sons, Randall (Sandy) of Buchanan and Steven (Rhonda) of Vienna, Illinois; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and his ex-wife, Kathleen (Emmitt) Parr of Greeley, Colorado.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, David; and two sisters, Dorothy Dickow and Judy Dickeson.
