Donald Leslie Froeber

Donald L. Froeber, 89, of Eau Claire, died Saturday, July 20, 2019, at his home.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 23, at Bowerman Funeral Home in Eau Claire, with visitation 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and the funeral at 1 p.m. Pastor Ben Blackiston will officiate. Donald was born April 11, 1930, in Stevensville, the son of Leslie A. and Carolyn M. (Raas) Froeber. He married Gloria F. Wilkerson in 1949. Don worked in assembly for Whirlpool Corporation for 33 years. He was a family man, and he could fix almost anything.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria; three sons: Donald (Sue), Michael, Larry (Becky); four daughters: Kathy (Everette) Gaston, Patricia (MD) Hebner, Donna (Tom) Knight, Shirley (Rick) Rybicki; one sister, Mary Louise Luke; 21 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Richard Froeber; and a sister, Betty Jane Virgil.
