Henry C. Sysko, 89, of Eau Claire, died early Friday, March 25, 2016, at home.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 2, at Bowerman Funeral Home in Eau Claire, where friends may call from noon until service time. Burial will follow in Shanghai Cemetery, Eau Claire. Online messages for the family may be left at www.bowermanfuneral.com.
Henry was born December 10, 1926, in Chicago, the son of Benjamin and Anna (Skowronska) Sysko. He proudly served his country during World War II as an Army medic on the USS Comfort. Henry had been a dairy farmer in Eau Claire for many years.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Jeannette Guzorek and Helen Sysko; and his brother, Casimer Sysko.
Surviving are two nieces, Christine Guzorek and Patricia (Phil) Franks; and two nephews, Richard (Christine) Guzorek and Steven (Wendy) Guzorek.
