Isabel Carretero

Isabel Carretero, 49, of Decatur, died early Saturday morning, May 25, 2019, at home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at noon on Wednesday, May 29, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Berrien Springs, where friends are invited to visit with the family beginning at 10 a.m. until service time. Isabel was born June 2, 1969, in Puebla, Mexico, the daughter of Juventino Carretero Francisco and Carmen Bonilla Ramirez. She had worked as an early childhood teacher for Telamon Corporation.

Survivors include her mother, Carmen Carretero; sisters: Olivia, Margarita, Enedelia, Julia, Helen, and Eloina; brother, Francisco Carretero; and her goddaughter, Victoris Williams.

She was preceded in death by her father on March 29, 2018.
