Kenneth A. Hanners

Kenneth A. Hanners, 81, died October 11, 2021, at his home in Eau Claire.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from noon until 1 p.m. Friday, October 15, at Bowerman Funeral Home, Eau Claire, where the funeral will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Shanghai Cemetery, Eau Claire. Messages and memories may be shared at www.bowermanfuneral.com.

Kenneth was born April 17, 1940, in Manila, Arkansas, the son of Andrew and Josie (Sorrells) Hanners. He was self-employed as owner/operator/distributor for wholesale fish sales.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn (Merritt) Hanners; two sons, Mark and Jeffrey Hanners, both of Eau Claire; three grandchildren: Jason Felton, Kenneth Andrew Hanners, and Kayla Hanners; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tracey Ann Hanners Felton; his sister, Katherine Edwards; and three brothers: Marvin, Dale, and Wendell Hanners.
