Eau Claire

Kevin Dale Fryer, aged 71, of Eau Claire, Michigan, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2025. Born on May 1, 1954, in Benton Harbor, Michigan, to Marilyn (Adams) Fryer and Eldon Fryer, Kevin brought joy and kindness to all who knew him throughout his fruitful life.

After graduating from Eau Claire High School in the 1972, Kevin dedicated himself to various professional endeavors that reflected his strong work ethic and his commitment to the community. His industrious career path included important roles at a local nuclear plant, Sears and Walmart, underscoring his adaptability and willingness to embrace new challenges. An active and devout member of his church, Kevin took great pride in contributing to the spiritual life of his community, serving diligently on the church board and as the church’s custodian for many years.

Faith was a cornerstone of Kevin's life. His Christian beliefs not only provided him solace and strength but also defined his interactions with family, colleagues, and strangers alike. He was a beacon of love and grace, often seen sharing moments of fellowship and service with a gentle, welcoming smile.

Kevin’s love for life was not only evident in his work but also in his leisure activities. He was an avid fisherman, relishing quiet mornings on the lake, a dedicated bowler who found joy in friendly competition, and a passionate basketball fan always ready to cheer on his favorite team. These interests allowed him to forge deep, long-lasting relationships with those who shared his passions.

Kevin was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Marilyn (Adams) Fryer, and his dear siblings, Roger Fryer and Toni Fryer. The legacy of his generous spirit lives on in his surviving family: his father Eldon Fryer, his siblings Terry Fryer and Kim Fryer, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who will continue to cherish his memory.

Described by many as loving, kind, and generous, Kevin possessed the rare ability to light up a room with his easy going nature. Through the simplest acts of kindness, he demonstrated the profound impact one person could have on the lives of many.

Kevin Dale Fryer will be so deeply missed, for he was not only a family member and a friend but a gentle soul who exemplified the virtues of compassion and humanity. As we bid farewell to this remarkable man, we celebrate the enduring impressions he left on the hearts of those fortunate to have known him. His story is not one of sorrow, but a testament to a life well-lived and well-loved.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Kevin's honor and memory to Napier Park View Baptist Church.
