Naomi Gladys Adams

Naomi G. Adams, 91, of Eau Claire passed on Friday, March 1, 2024 at Corewell Health Hospital in St. Joseph, Michigan with her family by her side.

Naomi was born on March 9, 1932 in Manila, Arkansas to the late William and Mary Still.  She was the last of her family of four sisters and three brothers.

Naomi was married to Victor Adams for forty-nine years, starting their journey as husband and wife on September 1, 1975.

She worked many jobs to help support her family of seven children and ended up retiring from Shepard Casters, St. Joseph.  Victor and Naomi traveled to many beautiful spots with their travel trailer and loved being member of the Michiana 2 Cylinder Club in Berrien Springs.  When she was younger, she loved to garden, canning, and work outside in her yard full of flowers.  She had an abundance of friends and loved talking with people.  She never lost her southern charm or her accent.

Surviving Naomi are her children:  James (Sherry) Eubanks, Toni Eubanks, David Eubanks, Beverly (Floyd Barnes) Eubanks, Cliff (Annette) Eubanks, Brian (Debbie) Eubanks, her stepchildren: Pam (Mike Nichols) Adams, Lonna (Lucky Glasgow) Adams, and Raymond (Val Elliot) Adams.  She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Those wishing to make a memorial donation in honor of Naomi have been asked to consider the Michiana 2 Cylinder Club, 9122 Old 31, Berrien Springs, MI.

A time of visitation for Naomi will be held Thursday, March 7, 2024 from 5-7 p.m. at Bowerman Funeral Home, 6635 East Main Street, Eau Claire, MI with services Friday, March 8, 2024 at 11 a.m. also at Bowerman Funeral Home.  A procession will follow the services to Shanghai Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Bowerman Funeral Home, Eau Claire.
