Philip Daniel Justice, a man of boundless humor and kindness, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2025, at the age of 56, in Benton Harbor, Michigan. Born on May 10, 1968, in Berrien Center, Michigan, Philip was a beloved father, brother, and friend who left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him.
Philip was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin Lee Justice and Vera (Quinn) Justice, and his brother, Calvin Justice Jr. His legacy continues through his cherished daughter, Amanda (Shavarr) Goodloe, his granddaughter, Brianna Goodloe, his sister, Donna Justice (Jerry) Van Gessel, several nieces, and nephews and longtime cherished friends Karen Moldovan and Kate Mood who will all forever hold him in their memories.
A retired handyman and autobody repairman, Philip was a master of his crafts. His hands were skilled in fixing anything that came his way, and his work was a testament to his meticulous care and dedication. Philip's love for his dog, "Minnie Pearl," was well-known, as was his passion for fishing and the great outdoors. He found joy in working around the house, staying active, and sharing laughter with those around him.
Philip’s intelligence shone through in every conversation. He was loving and kind—a true friend and a bright light in the lives of many. Philip's humor, caring nature, and spirited personality will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Bowerman Funeral Home in Eau Claire, Michigan. A graveside service will take place in the future.
