Randy Eugene Case, a treasured soul known for his thoughtful nature, kindness, and friendly demeanor, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2025, in Stevensville, Michigan. Born on January 25, 1945, in Benton Harbor, Michigan, Randy lived a life marked by love, service, and an unwavering dedication to his family and community.
Randy was the beloved husband of Delores J. (Wagner) Case, with whom he shared nearly five decades of marriage after they wed in Pennsylvania on May 5, 1976. He was a devoted son to his late parents, Victor and Marjorie (Stump) Case, and a loving father to his son, Todd (Carly) Case. Though predeceased by his daughters, Karen and Mary, his legacy continues through his cherished family, including his brother, Harry Case, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Randy was predeceased by his siblings, Agnes Barker and Edward Case, who no doubt welcomed him with open arms on the other side.
Randy's educational journey began and concluded in his hometown, graduating from Eau Claire High School, where he laid the foundation for a life of hard work and dedication. His professional career was spent at Berrien General in Maintenance, where he became known for his ability to fix absolutely everything, a skill that earned him great respect and appreciation from his colleagues and those he helped.
Beyond his professional life, Randy was deeply passionate about horses, a love that was evident to all who knew him. His sense of civic duty was strong; he was a proud member of the Berrien Springs Fire Department and the Sheriff's reserves. Randy's dedication to these roles spoke volumes about his character and his commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of his community.
One of Randy's greatest joys was traveling across the United States with his wife and son. They explored the country's vast landscapes on his Goldwing motorcycle, which he had lovingly equipped with a sidecar to share the adventures with his family. These journeys were filled with laughter, discovery, and the creation of lasting memories.
Randy's presence was a gift to those around him. He approached life with a heart full of generosity, always ready to lend a hand or share a kind word. His friendly nature made him a beloved figure in his community, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
