Stefani was born June 14, 1919, in Liberty Hill, Louisiana, the youngest child of Joseph and Sarafina Milewski. At the age of nine months, she contracted polio, which paralyzed her left side and impaired her speech. When she was a year and a half old, her family moved to the Eau Claire/Sodus area to farm, where she grew up. She helped, along with three brothers and a sister, to do chores and help her parents on the farm until 1960. After the passing of her father, her mother and she moved to Oxbow Road, and they also became members of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church.
She is survived by 10 nieces and nephews and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Stella Hetfield; and four brothers: Walter and Zigmund Mileski, and Joseph and Frank Milewski.
Stefani will be remembered for her wonderful smile.
