William S. “Bill” Hull, 86, of Eau Claire, died Thursday, April 21, 2016, at his home.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, April 25, at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church in Sodus, of which he was a member. Pastor Mark Mitchell will officiate. Military rites will be conducted by Berrien Springs American Legion Stover-Wagner Post 85. A luncheon will follow services. Friends may call from 1 – 4 p.m. Sunday, April 24, at Bowerman Funeral Home in Eau Claire, and also one hour prior to service time at the church on Monday. Bill was born May 30, 1929, in Benton Harbor, the son of William Sam and Helen (Stewart) Hull. He proudly served his country with the US Army during the Korean War. He was a life member of Disabled American Veterans and Berrien Springs American Legion Stover-Wagner Post 85. He had worked for 43 years in sales and marketing for American Electric Power, and later as a consultant for IBID Electric. He enjoyed fishing and golf, and he was a member at Pipestone Creek and Indian Lake Hills Golf Clubs.
Survivors include a daughter, Jennifer (Mark) Bowhuis of Berrien Springs; two grandchildren, Ashley and Bradley (fiancee’ Katie); great-grandchild, Connor; brother, Robert (Judith) Hull of Dowagiac; and cousins, Ron (Karlyn) Sisson of Florida and David (Charlene) Hunkins of Hawaii.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Donna (nee Vladic), whom he married on June 3, 1951 in Sodus, and who died July 15, 2007.
